Ladies Luncheon - Thursday, January 9th

Greetings Bloomington Country Club ladies! Our next Ladies Lunch will be Thursday, January 9th.  Social time starts at 11:30, program will begin at noon, and lunch will be served afterward around 12:45. This month we'll be hearing from Sergeant Choli Ence from the SGPD!

Sergeant Choli Ence began her career in law enforcement with the St. George Police Department in 2004. After spending a few short years on patrol, she was assigned to the investigation division. Choli spent her first five years as the lead sex crimes detective for the department before transferring to people crimes where she focused on vulnerable adults, missing person/runaway juvneiles.  During this assignment, she was introduced to the world of digital forensics. She quickly realized technology and the use of technology played a role in the majority of cases she was investigating. Choli earned a certificate in digital forensics from Dixie State University, who at the time had just started their digital forensic program. She has since earned a master's degree in information technology with an emphasis in digital forensic and published a paper that examines the success rate of chip-off, a forensic technique often utilized to bypass security features on locked cellphones. Choli is currently an adjunct professor, as well as a part-time forensic examiner for Dixie State University. She is currently assigned as the supervisor over people crimes, which consists of six detectives assigned to gangs/vice, sex crimes, missing person, and Internet Crimes agaisnt Child (ICAC). Sgt. Ence is vetern of Operation Enduring Freedom and deployed to Afghanistan in 2015. She is currently serving in the Army Reserves as the Command Inspector General for the 79th Theater Sustainment Command in Los Alamitos, California.
